Applying Bodywork to Rehabilitation

Often people come to massage therapists to seek help in addressing specific muscle strains or injuries in their body. This class will focus on the more common issues one sees in a massage practice. Most sports injuries are extreme instances of everyday strains and sprains. This class will prepare the student to assess and address these problem. In addition, we will learn how to work with clients during rehabilitation and at sporting events.

- 20 hours anatomy, physiology, kinesiology
- 20 hours of applied deep tissue techniques
- 10 hours of pathology
- 15 hours supervised practice
